I love Reece in these green heels at TIFF. The shoes totally make the outfit. The dress is nice too. She looks good. A little less mumsy than normal. A thumbs up from me.

They came!!!! F**k! I have my beautiful babies! And I LOVE them!!!! The anxious wait was SO worth it! And now they are here!!! I was almost afraid to open the box...

They are so high and so sexy and just a perfect, beautiful, classic, most gorgeous pair of heels ever! 

I can't stop looking at them. And standing around in front of the mirror in them. My own pair of Christian Louboutin Pigalle 120s!!! Mine! All mine!

The fit perfectly. One of the only Louboutin styles that are made true to size. But blimey they really are sky high! They are my highest pair. It's like walking on your tippy toes. Will I wear them out? Not yet. I need to savour them for a while...

A massive thank you again to all my lovely friends who enabled me to own the dream! This birthday present will not be beaten.

As I'm unfortunately not rich enough for a closet full of Louboutin's, these new heels from Tony Bianco might ease the pain (a little)... Currently only available by pre-order, the Aero is my kind of shoe! High, classic, simple, hot! I love the thin gold metal ankle strap. Not sure how comfortable it'd be, but since when have I cared about comfort?! Pfft.

Don't call Mr S's work mobile three times in a row without leaving a message, to imply the call is 'urgent' which makes him rush out of an important meeting, thinking something is wrong, when the question is whether or not I should buy a pair of shoes that I really, really want (but don't need).

Now here's the problem. I walked away from the shoes and now I'm sulking. I can feel the claws of obsession starting to dig in... Oh bullocks I should have just bought them! Maybe I should call and put them on hold and go back and get them tomorrow.  Oh why the hell did I go to Tony Bianco in first place!  This always happens!  When will I learn? Never.

I WANT these beauties!!! In nude and silver. They could have been mine...

I have fallen in love with these hot 'Crystal-Cap-Toe Clear Heels' from Lanvin, ever since spotting them in the new issue of Harpers Bazaar.  However, at AUS$1,593.60, they are ever-so-slightly out of my price range. Humph! They look amazing on, and would go with everything!  Hopefully one of the high street brands will rip them off so I can get my feet into a pair!

Well dear readers, the wedding (of my niece) approaches. So I am taking a very short break to enjoy all the build up and fun and excitement. The dress ups, drinking, dancing, loving, eating, chatting, meeting new people and picture taking... Tune in next week for a sum up of the wedding of the year (and what I wore of course)!

got shoe envy?

I'm really loving metallics right now. Just the thing for this years Christmas and New Year party season.  As you know, I recently purchased my gorgeous silver glitter Diavolina stilettos, but I have been hankering over a gold pair ever since...

So when I received my new sparkly gold 'Goldrush' heels from Shoe Envy this morning it made my day! God, I love new shoes!  Always so exciting! I have worn them round the house ever since and can't wait for the perfect excuse to wear them out! 

The pale gold fabric is just the right shade. Not too gold, almost nude-gold, so they will go with everything (well almost). They are really comfortable to wear (no squashed toes!) and they don't feel as high as they look due to the platform, and they are a real size 38, so fit perfectly.  Yay, happy, happy me! Jealous ladies...? Then buy your own!

The weekend went way too quickly, and although I was busy, I don't feel like I really did anything... I feel like I need another day to relax and have some more fun. Monday is always a bit of a slog. Still I have nothing to complain about!  My cup is half full and all that...

I needed some bright, spring colour today.  You've seen this outfit before.  My Wish top and Review skirt.  I love this shade of green, is it emerald (?), it looks so nice with tanned skin.

today I am wearing...

I fancied wearing black again today.  It's a gorgeous sunny spring day, but I just didn't feel like colour. I think it's looking at all the lovely fashion week collections, the wispy, delicate black dresses.

I can't remember where this dress is from. I cut the itchy label off. But it's light cotton and fine for coffee with a girlfriend and then a few hours at work.  I just changed my shoes accordingly...

I love this funky cowl neck Mix dress (from Coles). It only cost $12! What a bargain. It's my first time wearing it out today.  As it's still a bit chilly I've added a cardie, belt and glass beads - a teal overload!

I couldn't decide on which shoes to wear though... In the end I went with my Tony Bianco snakeskin stilettos.  The platform put me off a bit at first.  The whole stripper shoe vibe. But they match my outfit, so I went with colour.  I do like the nude option too though.

I'm in love with my new heels.  They are very high and are definitely not for walking far, more just sitting around with legs and heels on display.  I can't wait to wear them out. I keep putting them on and just wearing them round the bedroom...

For someone who has fabulous friends in the right places, a privileged lifestyle and a billionaire daddy, I am really disappointed with Chloe Green's CJG shoe collection, launched yesterday at Top Shop, in London.  

Honey, we've seen it all before! I love the green soles, but the actual shoe designs, oh yawn! And I'm sorry to say, some of the designs look like they come from Kmart!

Chloe's online store, www.cjg.com, announces, "Summer 12 sees Chloe’s debut collection of shoes, a stand-out range of decadent designs where nude and pretty styles are contrasted against a dark, heavy opulence. Each shoe is given Chloe’s signature green outsoles in genuine leather."  Ummm.  I'm not convinced.  Shame.  Apparently some styles have sold out already.  Look I'd probably buy a pair, just for the 'celebrity' factor, but Chloe darl, don't give up your day job just yet...

introducing green soled heels...

Chloe (Jade) Green, daughter of billionaire Arcadia Group boss Sir Philip Green (that owns Top Shop among others), will launch her new, much anticipated green soled shoe range, in Top Shop, on 17 May... Influenced no doubt by all her dad's rich, celebrity, model friends and of course Mr Louboutin.  


It will be interesting to see what they are like.  I'm not overly keen on the teaser pic below, although I do like the green sole. So we'll see...
