today I am wearing...

A practical summer day at home outfit for today. Chores to do, a pool to clean, kids to amuse (actually the new Xbox does that), tan to work on. So comfy Mix shorts, Just Jeans top, glass bead and bare feet!

today I am wearing...

I look like a member of the school PTA today, or a real estate agent...! Efficient, smart and mumsy. I'm wearing my new $15 Mix from Coles dress and brown comfy sensible wedges. I could wear this same outfit aged 70! But, the dress is a comfy on, and just right for a trip to the hairdressers before popping into work for an hour or two, before the mummy wheel starts...

Happy Friday peeps!

today I am wearing...

I got this linen-mix dress at Coles a while ago.  It was only $15.  It's really wearable, has pockets and I like that you can change the belt to whatever colour you fancy.  I've gone for a teal belt and cardie today with nude sandals.

It's a beautiful Spring day out there.  The sun is out and there is not a breath of wind.

today I am wearing...

I love this funky cowl neck Mix dress (from Coles). It only cost $12! What a bargain. It's my first time wearing it out today.  As it's still a bit chilly I've added a cardie, belt and glass beads - a teal overload!

I couldn't decide on which shoes to wear though... In the end I went with my Tony Bianco snakeskin stilettos.  The platform put me off a bit at first.  The whole stripper shoe vibe. But they match my outfit, so I went with colour.  I do like the nude option too though.

Which do you prefer?

today I am wearing...

I can't believe this dress cost me $8! Yes, you heard right, $8! And it's from Coles (yes, the supermarket)!!!

I have to admit, I'm quite liking the Mix clothing range. It's unbelievably cheap to start with, then a week or so later, the stock gets reduced down even more! It's either selling badly or they have such a huge turnover of stock to get through... Flicking through the clothing rails is now as much of a habit as popping milk cartons in my trolley!

The quality seems okay too. This dress for example, I tried it on thinking it would feel and look cheap, hang badly and be a strange shape, but it fits really well and I think, looks really nice! I've added my thin red snakeskin Just Jeans belt and my red Keds wedges, as I'm off to the mall, to hit the toy sales with the kids. Nothing much else to do on the first day of the school holidays, when it's cold and drizzly...
