today I am wearing...

I wear this dress all time in summer. It's such a light, easy, throw on style that can be dressed up or worn casually, by a change of shoes and a necklace (or two). I bought it in Hong Kong a few years ago when Mr S and I had a kid free visit (utter bliss!). Sightseeing, eating, shopping and sipping cocktails in trendy skyscraper bars, ahhhh.

I had to pop out to the mall this morning, kids things to buy (boring), but afterwards I did have a rather lengthy browse round the more interesting shops too. And guess what? I came home empty handed! I was totally under whelmed by the change in season, summer-autumn fashion. Blah.  I didn't see anyting I really liked. I had a big slab of cake with icing instead (sugar haters - it as finger licking good!).

Today I am wearing....

It's a perfect sun bathing day, but I don't think I'll get the chance unfortunately!  I have things to do and places to go. So a light, summer dress is all that's required.

This little cotton sun dress is so comfy to just pull on. I bought it from a local boutique called Orange Sherbet, last year. I like the quirky clouds and sailing boat print, and I can go bra less (yay!).  The blue also matches my blue glass beads.  As I'm running around, sensible wedges complete the look.

today I am wearing...

I love this warmer weather.  I love not having to wear very much.  You can just throw on a simple cotton dress and you are ready to go!  Even better when no bra is required. Like today. Hooray!

I've had this green and white floral print dress for so long I have no idea where I bought it from.  But I wear it a lot when it's hot and humid.  Today, I've added my favourite Target wedges. Simple.

I look like a member of the school PTA today, or a real estate agent...! Efficient, smart and mumsy. I'm wearing my new $15 Mix from Coles dress and brown comfy sensible wedges. I could wear this same outfit aged 70! But, the dress is a comfy on, and just right for a trip to the hairdressers before popping into work for an hour or two, before the mummy wheel starts...

It feels so summery today.  It's lovely and warm and there is a touch of humidity in the air. So I had the prefect excuse to wear the Jay Jays dress that I snapped up last week.  I chose the sunny yellow belt, for the sunny day.  I'll wear the pink one next time.
