today I am wearing...

It's a beautiful sunny winter morning, but oh so cold!!!  Okay, it's not that cold in the scheme of all the really cold places in the world, but for Queensland, it's pretty darn fresh.  

So even I have had to pull on some jeans!  I don't like wearing jeans, or trousers (as you know), but sometimes needs must...  So charcoal jeans and black v-neck jumper it is, with my lovely warm grey/purple scarf.  My shoes are Diana Ferarri heels that I don't wear that often, but they are quite sweet, fine for jeans.

Get your mind out of the gutter! This post is not about nudie bits. 

I'm talking about nude heels! Every girl should have at least one pair! Why? Do you really need to ask? They are so flippin wearable. With everything! Jeans, trousers, dresses, shorts. Long, short or mid length. Colour blocks, patterns, florals, pastels or black. Nude always works. I adore nude heels, and am still pinning for the nude suede peeptoes I missed out on at Tony Bianco (didn't have my size) last week. I only have patent nudes and I wear them constantly. I love them. Can't you tell!

So if you don't own a pair. Do your wardrobe a big favour. Buy some.

today I am wearing...

It's Monday.  It's work.  I'm not feeling colourful.  So, I've chosen my Portmans black twist dress.  It's very low at the front, but as it's work and not a function/lunch, I have a normal bra on, and not a push together, so not to give anyone an eye full.  Okay, not that I can give anyone an eye full - but you know what I mean. Demure, that's me.

Simple, silver ball pendant, earrings and bracelet and my lovely pearlescent purple heels complete the look.

Alright Kimmy! Stop asking!! I know you just have to pop up everywhere...

I can't help it. I know you have seen these pics before, but I have to give this weeks Boobs of the Week Award to Kim Kardashian. Just because, she just doesn't go away! You have to hand it to her, she knows how to work it (the fame game) and people still lap it up with gusto! And you have to admit, she does have a impressive figure and a very large set of lovelies (especially in silver).

the dreaded tan ankle boots...

Let me get this straight. I'm not against tan ankle boots. At all. They can look really cool. But... I just can't stand the pair that Katie Homes insists on wearing all the time!

I know I should admire her for 'dressing down' when just running Suri around town, being so normal and 'down to earth' even though she is a famous film star and oh-so talented, married to squillionaire Tom (ugh!), blah, blah, blah...

But I HATE them! They are old and worn (and most probably very comfy) and stained and ugly! And they do NOT look good with skirts!!!

Please Katie, go and and treat yourself to a nice new pair, actually a nice new casual wardrobe. I'll even come shopping with you and have you looking lovely in a jiffy!

I use to live on Richmond Hill (in London), just a street away from the Jagger's and the Goldsmiths.  And I'm am just a little big gutted that I'm not there now that Ange and Brad have moved in!  And they have 'expressed an in interest' in attending the Queen's Jubilee Street Party! How cool would that be, sipping tea and sharing sandwich fingers with soon-to-be Mrs Pitt. Oh well.  I have turned my back on that glitzy life and and have to remind myself that I am perfectly happy in suburbia...

Another new purchase. I'm just loving these amazing sales! I had my eye on this pretty summer dress when it was full price, so you can imagine how excited I was when I saw it hanging on the sale rail in my size! I love the teal and lime print and it matches perfectly with my lime green Nine West slingbacks. I'm also wearing a cardie cause it's actually pretty chilly today.
