It feels like a wet London day.  Miserable again.  Fine drizzle. Everything grey.  Heavy watery sky. Not even a slither of blue up there. Two days of crap weather in a row is just too much. Come on Spring - hurry up and get here!

I wanted to wear boots today, and tights to keep my legs warm. So Tony Bianco heeled boots it is again, with my vintage lace ruffle dress with satin Marks & Sparks slip underneath. This dress is way too see-through to just wear a bra (for work anyway).

These boot are too tall for me really, or I'm too short for them.  I much prefer knee-high boots to finish a little lower.  I don't like the way they gape and look like wellies... but I was so excited to finally find a pair of stiletto heel boots, I figured I'd just have to live with them the way they are.  So I do...

Queensland winters, they do my head in a bit, still hot in the sun, but chilly cold inside and in the shade. What to wear!

Today it's my easy Sussan baggy trousers and cornflour blue cardie, with a white Kmart vest and thongs. I know, I know I'm wearing 'pants', it doesn't happen very often, but sometimes I cave.

Once again a trip to the sales was knocked on the head by a sick mini-me. So a home day it is. Now back to nurse duty... (and unfortunately it's real nurse duty, not the fun bedroom kind..., well not real, real nurse duty, I'm not a nurse - oh you know what I mean!)

I love, love. love these gorgeous Tony Bianco heels.  My $30 bargains!  I was unbelievable excited buying these at such an amazing price.  I'm sure the sales assistant thought I was a nutter, as I squealed around the shop, posing in front of the mirror trying them on.

The dusky pink suede is so soft, and the shape of the heel is super hot!  I don't have any pink clothes that match perfectly, but this old pink Gap cardie is close enough!  So it's the office worker look today. Straight black skirt, white vest, cardigan and heels.

Typical that the sun is out today, after such a grey, cold, drizzly long weekend.

It's still parky, so I've added a warm Portmans cardie to my outfit today.  I am counting down to Spring!  It's just so much easier to dress when it's warm.  I'm wearing my Portmans belted work dress with peplum.  I have this same dress in black too, cause I love this classic style. And my old faithful, very worn heels. 

God I'm like Katie Holmes and her awful tan boots which she keeps wearing, even though they are only fit for the bin! Katie - I'll throw my beloved, comfy stilettos away (and buy a new pair) if you throw your smelly boots away - how's that for a deal?!

Another new purchase. I'm just loving these amazing sales! I had my eye on this pretty summer dress when it was full price, so you can imagine how excited I was when I saw it hanging on the sale rail in my size! I love the teal and lime print and it matches perfectly with my lime green Nine West slingbacks. I'm also wearing a cardie cause it's actually pretty chilly today.

One clothing item that I simply can't live without is my simple black cotton lycra vest.

I don't care what brand it is, I just have to have a few in my wardrobe (in my 'tops' drawer to be precise). Whatever time of year it is, it is a staple that I wear a lot.

I love them because you can do anything, go anywhere, or combine with anything top. Today I'm wearing one with black linen pyjama trousers (it's a chores day). And a purple cardie, cause there is a chill in the air when the sun pops behind a cloud...

Although the sun is out today, the wind is cold, so it won't be long till all my cardies come out. There are so many lovely neat little button-up cardigans around in the shops at the moment, in a rainbow of rich winter colours, so I'll definitely be stocking up on a few more.  When it's really cold I like knee length cardigans to wrap myself up in. I live in my old black Portmans one from a couple of years ago - I bought two as I knew they'd go with everything.
