I'm back!

Hello! Did you miss me? Only joking! Well. What can I say? The wedding trip to Queenstown is over and life returns to normal... We had a wonderful time, fun and family and enjoying nature, and the wedding? It was PERFECT! Totally, utterly, beautifully, perfect. As far as traditional white weddings go, it was just gorgeous, flawless.  The bride, the flowers, the bridesmaids, the venue, the guests, the food, the drinks, the music, the fun vintage photo booth... all of it!

(I still prefer my underwater one though...!)

every girl should have one...

My darling friends and family always have my best interests at heart.  For my birthday I got the perfect presents. Heels, jewellery, gift cards (I like to choose treats/clothes for myself), books (hard to find treasured favourites), a trip away, long lovely lunches out and, what every girl should have (I can't say 'woman' I'm not that old yet!)... a glass pleasure maker (that's a vibrator to you)!

I've always wanted a glass one, and I have to tell you, the 'hand blown glass massager' is pretty fabulous and didn't disappoint. Certainly far more satisfying and aesthetically pleasing than the big black stallion one that I use to own.  Now, I could do a full blown review for you, but I don't want you all gagging into lunch.  So I'll just say this... you can warm it up, or pop in the fridge/freezer to cool it down (definitely my preference!), the rose bud itself is a nice feature and can be used in a variety of different ways, and a quick rinse under the hot tap and it's as sparkling clean and as good as new!

Check out Wild Secrets, you on, treat yourself. Your partner will love it too!

the happiest woman alive?

Kate Middleton. Does she ever stop smiling? She makes me smile, it's infectous.  She just looks so flippin happy all the time, and well, she probably is!  Even with the tremendous pressure that has been thrust upon her, she looks like she's loving every minute of her new life.  And why not, I certainly would!

It must be the most amazing experience, from upper middle class normality to full-on royalty.  Unlike Mary (way too serious) and Charlene (too bloody miserable), Kate looks like she's having a blast.

I admire her for being herself and embracing everything that's thrown at her with such confidence and gusto.  She looks fit and fabulous and genuinely in love.

I must admit I have always been a fan of the royals.  How can you not love the history of the Bristish monarchy? I was lucky enough to meet Prince Charles, at a reception at Highgrove, some years ago, and was totally unprepared for how normal he was.  He had rough working man's hands and was chatty and, well, really nice.

So this post is for Kate. Long may you reign!

I'd smile too if I could look good in these unforgiving trousers!
